Mommy’s – yes I am talking to you !

Nothing is more important than capturing these sweet moments with you children.

You know you are guilty  ( as am I ) of taking all those cell phone photos – you know the ones you typically are not in.

Make a point to get in some photos.

The years go by to fast & they are only little once.

If I had to pick one mini session to do a year it would be my mommy & me’s . I hope to continue to offer these for years to come. (Typically, I hold them in late May )

Ahhhh! Sometimes I look at photos & it takes me back to that moment. It’s such a feel good moment. I mean… I love what I do – so taking me back to any moment that I am doing what I love brings all sorts of butterflies.

I love getting to know my clients & I also love watching my clients grow. Last winter Kelly Searle referred this client over to me for Holiday mini’s. I have now had the pleasure of watching her beautiful family grow through holidays & birthdays & special moments like these.

It’s so important to get yourself in front of the camera. Yes, mommy’s I am talking to you !! You all know that you are the ones holding the camera 90% of the time . Grabbing those adorable moments of daddy snuggling with the babies. Your lover holding your first child hand walking into the ocean for the first time … & so many more moments that YOU ARE TAKING ( yes I yelled that !) I am guilty too! That is why I schedule my family photos this year. 😉

Magical golden hour in Pine township during my mommy & me session

That magical light !

I am so lucky to watch this beautiful little girl grow through the past couple years  & now I am so lucky to photograph her mommy & her.

It’s so important mom’s to get in front of that camera! These magical moments that come & go so quickly are ones that you will want to cherish.

I kept this session pretty simple styling all around . Yes , I personally style all of my sessions. I love watching my dreams come to reality. Very seldom I will hire a clothing stylist. However, all my sets are dreamt up & created by me. I do take pride & joy to say that. It takes a lot of time & energy & I want to make EACH session I do special. I styled mom in this beautiful Free People dress in a deep purple & mom rented the tutu du monde dress from borrowed boutique. The settee…I wish I could say was mine. However, I rented that from Trish over at Vintage Alley Rentals in Pittsburgh Pa.

I found this beautiful field that was backlit & had incredible grasses waist high. I knew that it was a perfect fit for these special moments .
