Welcome to the yellow phase | Pittsburgh Child photographer
Mello- Yello
I am so excited to be back at work – doing what I love!
Let’s talk location for a moment.

PULL BACK: This is actually on the side of a run-down parking lot
This image above is the pull-back of where I shot all these images below. These beautiful yellow wildflowers were growing a side of an abandoned parking lot up the road from me. As soon as I saw it I knew that there was hidden magic. I went at Golden hour – which is my prefered time for shooting to create that warm beautiful light and creates beautiful shadows.
I didn’t feel that many props were needed for this brother and sister set. So I brought a galvanized bucket and a vintage magnifying glass -which as I think you can see is all we needed to create some fun.
All of my images were created using my new presets soon to release on Hello Storyteller platform
